This brown sugar is really soft and yummy. I made some BBQ baked beans and added our brown sugar to it. When I opened the can I knew it was good. I touched the sugar in the jar and was very happy. I am hoping it will stay soft while in use with the lid that our company provides. I will get back to you on this one. I am looking to be surprised OK? Because I just cleaned out my pantry and threw away a bunch of BAGS of brown sugar that had become hard. I hate that about brown sugar! Dazzle me Thrive Brown sugar! Loving it so far!

I just made tacos with this tonight and my kids rated it "a billion" out of five stars. They loved it, and they are not an easy crowd to please.
The flavor is really delicious and it is so lean. It tasted much better than regular ground beef. The prep time is incredibly fast, so a recipe that normally would have taken an hour took me 20 minutes. I am going to have this in my home forever more! :)

I love the flavor, it is quite salty. I use it in place of salt in some of my cooking: beef patties, mashed potatoes, backed potatoes, soups,etc.
First class product
This bouillon is in a class of it's own. When I demo this product there are 3 factors that make selling it easy. The flavor is awesome. It contains no MSG. Plus vegetarians can use this product. A little goes a long ways and it is always in use in my kitchen.

Preparation Instructions:
Remove oxygen absorber from can. Add 1 ½ cups water to 3 ⅔ cups cornbread mix and stir until smooth. Pour batter into a greased 8x8 pan and bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool 15–20 minutes before serving.

We love this mix...It definitely had an extra sweetness to it (like another reviewer mentioned) but appreciated not crunching on the little corn chunks like you do in others. I look forward to deviating from just plain cornbread and adding extra things like cranberries, blueberries, etc etc when I recieve my next can.

This drink mixes up like apple cider. It's delicious and if you serve it warm with a little bit of cinnamon, you've got the perfect winter/autumn drink. If you serve it chilled, it tastes JUST like apple juice. Of all the Thrive drinks, this one tastes most like regular old juice. Which means I use it in recipes too where juice is called for and I leave out the sugar. It yields a very flavorful tang to my recipes.

Storage Conditions
Temperature: Storing THRIVE at a high temperature can significantly increase the speed that calories and vitamins will degrade over time. In the correct storage container, low-moisture foods such as THRIVE can be stored at room temperature or cooler (75 degrees Fahrenheit or lower) and remain nutritious and edible for years. Our stated shelf life assumes that the product will be stored in optimal conditions.
Humidity: The effects of humidity on a closed can are caused by heat and very similar to the effects of high temperature (see above). High humidity can corrode the cans and in some cases even cause the cans to leak. Areas with high humidity can reduce the opened shelf life of the product. As humidity varies with location please use your own discretion to prevent possible sickness from eating spoiled food.
Damaged Container: Minor dents in the center of the can are usually just a cosmetic issue. However, a can that has been dented near or on a seam can have a compromised air-tight seal and allow oxygen to enter the can. If this is the case we recommend using the dented can within the specified opened shelf life, rather than closed.
The best way to maintain the highest quality of your THRIVE products is to take care of them. If you intend on storing your food for the sealed shelf life, store the cans in a place that is not open to elements such as water, light, and air. Take care of it. Don't expose it unnecessarily to the elements. Also, be sure to keep the temperature and humidity low and even. Under these proper storing situations

Best Boullion at a great price!
This is by far my favorite bouillon for soups and seasonings. I add this for flavoring to almost everything - grilled chicken, potatoes, soups, salad dressings, gravy etc. The Beef Bouillon is an equally exceptional beef version - I use both! Far better flavor and value over the conventional grocery store variety!

I am EXTREMELY picky about bouillon. My usual feelings range from "this is OK" to intense dislike. Many of the bouillon brands I've tried have had a metallic aftertaste, or been saltier than a salt lick. For this reason, I tend not to cook with it much.
Enter: Thrive chicken bouillon. We're pretty committed to our food storage, and bouillon is part of that food storage, so I figured I'd better start using it. Having found a promising-looking chicken recipe, the other night, I broke out my first #10 can of Thrive chicken bouillon.
My first impression, on opening the can, was that it smelled GREAT. It smelled like something I wanted to eat. I ended up adding more to the recipe than it called for...and, within a few hours (I was cooking dinner in the slow cooker), dinner was smelling fantastic. I thought dinner came out absolutely delicious, and my family said it was some of the best chicken I'd ever made. Thank you, Thrive, for changing my mind about bouillon!

Directions:
Quick Soak: Soak 1 lb beans in 6-8 cups of hot water. Bring to boil and cook 2 minutes. Remove from the heat, cover and let stand for 1 hour. Drain water and rinse beans. Cook: Add 6-8 cups of hot water to drained and rinsed beans. Simmer gently with lid tilted until desired tenderness is reached, about 1 ½ to 2 hours.

Our family are butter eaters. We will not eat margarine because of the taste and additives. Butter from cows with questionable health issues and feeding bothered us and the price kept going up. The butter powder taste excellent. It worked beautifully in our bread making, vegetables with butter sauce, toast, and pancakes. It lacks the oil of regular butter but I just switched to olive or coconut oil for those uses and these are actually less expensive. We are having to learn how to cook differently using the butter powder but it is worth the trouble. We are SOLD on butter powder. As I figure it we are saving money as an added bonus.
Absolutely Fabulous!
I can't say enough great things about this product! I use it at home constantly and also serve this at every Food Tasting Party (about 6 per month!). Literally EVERYONE who tries this butter LOVES it! The taste is smooth and creamy and has such a burst of butter flavor that it makes your taste buds do a tap dance!
It's also super healthy for you! My regular butter has 7 grams of saturated fat per serving vs. just 1.5 grams with Thrive. Salt is also much lower, too. Regular salted butter has 95 mg of salt vs. 15 mg with Thrive!
I've used it on pancakes, toaste, melted in veggies, in baking...the only limitation is that you cannot fry foods with this product because of the low fat content. But that's NOT a problem as far as I'm concerned because I saved the best for last....this product has only 5 mg of cholesteral vs. 30 mg in regular butter!!! That health aspect alone makes this a huge winner in my book! (Low fat, low salt, low cholesteral---WOW!) Give this product a try...you'll LOVE it!
Preparation Tip: I generally use 1 cup of butter powder to about 1/8 cup water plus 1 tbsp. From there I just drizzle more until I get the consistency I want. I've found both the taste and creamness is best when you make it ahead and let sit in the frig for a hour or two.
One last note...If using prepared butter on cooked veggies (vs. sprinkling it on in powder form), leave a little extra water in your sauce pan. When you do, the water turns the butter into a "butter sauce" and adds an absolutely AWESOME flavor to everyting! ENJOY!!!
Directions:
Add small amounts of water to THRIVE Butter Powder until obtaining desired texture. For added flavor and texture, add a small amount of vegetable oil.

I used these for a home made cheesy potato soup the other night. I've also re-hydrated them and fried them up with a little butter, bacon, THRIVE Freeze Dried Onion Dices, scrambled eggs salt & pepper. Yum! I am very pleased. . Delicious!!

What is freeze drying?
THRIVE freeze-dried products are flash frozen, sublimated, and packaged to remove as much water as possible, all without sacrificing quality or nutritional value. These foods last longer and are healthier than foods that are simply dehydrated. Though both processes remove significant amounts of water from perishable food items, the speed of freeze drying locks in existing tastes and nutrients that would be lost during dehydration.
